 8btrcin  ((VANADINITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Western Union Mine, Mohave County, Arizona, 3.5 x 2.5 x 1.5, Miniature,  Here's a new one for me.  Long brown terminated undamaged hexagonal crystals of Vanadinite from the Western Union Mine in Arizona.  I do not know whether this is an old specimen or what.  It was the only one and I have not seen these before.

11    8btrcns  ((BORNEMANITE, NATROLITE, AEGIRINE, with minor ZORITE and RAITE)),  $35 MINIMUM BID, Yubileinaya pegmatite, Kola, Russia, 6 x 6 x 4 cm, Miniature,  Here is a combination specimen that displays well with a great black Aegirine crystal.  Bornemanite see mindat.org  http://www.mindat.org/min-725.html  It also have small vugs containing Zorite and Raite.  Neat combination of rare Russian minerals.

13  8btmpnr  ((WULFENITE on MIMETITE)),  $50 MINIMUM BID, level 6, San Juan Poniente Vein, Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico, 7 x 4 x 3.5  cm, Cabinet,  New Wulfenite and a new darker green color for Mimetite.  The butterscotch Wulfenite crystals are dipyramidal and undamaged.   
14   ari  ((3 WULFENITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Papago Mine, La Paz County, Arizona, Thumbnails,  Three thumbnail specimens of Papago red orange Wulfenite crystals.  The geology is similar to the Red Cloud Mine and in the same general vicinity.  However the Papago was never commercially mined for specimens as the Red Cloud and so Papago Wulfenites are much more uncommon.  These are old specimens from the Clyde Hardin collection.

23  7ddcdns   ((WULFENITE)),  $25 MINIMUM BID, Urumqi, Kuruktag Mtns, Xinjiang Uygur Region, Northern China,  3.5 x 3 x 1.5 cm, Miniature, Lustrous red orange crystals of Wulfenite.  I sold a similar looking one but indeed a larger miniature about twice the size for $500 at Tucson and it was way less than other similar specimens.

26    7ddmwig  ((PYRRHOTITE and SPHALERITE with QUARTZ)),  $25 MINIMUM BID, Dalnegorsk, Russia, 7 x 5 x 3.5 cm, Cabinet,  a mound covered with terminated Quartz crystals and looks damaged free.  On the Quartz are lustrous hexagonal crystals of brassy Pyrrhotite and dark multifaced Sphalerite crystals.

Large Miniature, 5.7 x 4.5 x 3.6 cm

 

A sharply crystallized example of this rare sulfate species, formerly known as Schonite, from a classic locality long abandoned. Minor halite is associated underneath and around the backside. It is, overall, a very attractive miniature. It carries an old label from the Bergakadmemie Freiberg. Sharp and complete all around, very 3-dimensional.
