10   8dgclo  ((EMERALD)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Cosquez Mine, Muzo, Columbia,  5 x 3 x 3 cm, Miniature,  Here is a pair of small gemmy emerald green Emerald crystals on matrix of Limestone and Calcite.  The larger is .6 to .7 cm in length and is not terminated but it is a gemmy hexagonal crystal.

11   8dgrris  ((SILVER, COPPER HALFBREED)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Quincy Mine?, Hancock, Houghton County, Michigan,  2.5 x 2 x 1 cm, Here is a classic halfbreed of Silver and Copper.  This belonged to a worker at the Quincy Mine and several other specimens were labeled Quincy and so this also may be from the Quincy Mine.

 

 

12   8dgrris  ((SILVER, COPPER HALFBREED)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Quincy Mine?, Hancock, Houghton County, Michigan,  6 x 3 x .2 cm, Here is a polished slab of classic halfbreed of Silver and Copper.  This belonged to a worker at the Quincy Mine and several other specimens were labeled Quincy and so this also may be from the Quincy Mine.  It is probably 90 to 95% Copper with only small areas of Silver.  The outside edge appears to have been shaped for some purpose.

16  5swl  ((fluorescent SCHEELITE on FLUORITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan Province, China,  17 x 10 x 4.5 cm, Cabinet,  Large Cabinet sized specimen of light purple Fluorite with brown lustrous Scheelite crystals which are highly Fluorescent.  With the sw UV many others show up in a streak across the specimen.

18    6atdbgs  ((EPIDOTE, BYSSOLITE)),  $100 MINIMUM BID, Alchuri, Shigar Valley, Baltistan, Northern Areas, Pakistan,  11 x 4 x 1.5 cm, Cabinet, Here is an excellent undamaged lustrous large Pakistan Epidote.  It has no damage and no attachment and so is a floater. It is made up of double terminated parallel crystals are dark green Epidote.  It also has minor acicular white hairy Byssolite in association. This is a superb Epidote even under a loop.  ex Dave Bunk specimen valued at $400. 

19  6atdbg  ((QUARTZ pseudomorph after FLUORITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Genoa Mine, San Juan County, Colorado,  10 x 8 x 4.5 cm, Cabinet, Octahedral shaped white Quartz which are hollow after light green Fluorite.  On the back are some remnants of the Fluorite.   Stands up nicely for display.  ex Dave Bunk specimen.  Photo does not do justice,  Better in person.

21    7hlkmr  ((GROSSULAR GARNET)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Rt 83, Reesers Summit, York County, Pennsylvania,  4 x 2.5 x 2 cm, Miniature,  Here is an unusual location for Grossular.  This material is only seen in local Pennsylvanian collections and is not on the commercial mineral market.  Nice sharp Grossular crystals. 

 

22    7btadi  ((PLATTNERITE, CALCITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Hidden Treasure Mine, Tooele County, Utah,  8 x 7.5 x 4 cm, Cabinet,  Excellent large black lustrous Plattnerite crystals expecially on the back which could be the front.  You still need a loop or scope but these are large crystals from Plattnerite.  Hidden Treasure Mine is now closed and sealed by the state of Utah. Plattnerite is also a very uncommon mineral.

31  7atkrr ((UNKNOWN PSEUDOMORPH)),  $1 MINIMUM BID, Unknown, 7 x 6 x 4.5, Cabinet,  Here is a terrific pseudomorph which looks like something after Calcite.  I got it from Kristalle when I got all the Tsumeb material.  It was in 4 large flats of old collection specimens and not the Tsumeb.  It had no label. So perhaps someone recognizes the specimens identity.  ex Kristalle.  Maybe its siderite after calcite from Romania.

37  7hlkmr ((TWO CALCITES)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Faraday Mine, Bancroft, Ontario, Canada, 5 cm in length, 2 Miniatures,  Faraday Mine has Calcite crystals with flat terminations.  Here is a single scalenohedral crystal of Calcite with a flat termination.  Also a larger crystal with 4 sides that are cleaved.   Calcite from Faraday also has reddish black opaque faces.

Large Miniature, 5.7 x 4.5 x 3.6 cm

 

A sharply crystallized example of this rare sulfate species, formerly known as Schonite, from a classic locality long abandoned. Minor halite is associated underneath and around the backside. It is, overall, a very attractive miniature. It carries an old label from the Bergakadmemie Freiberg. Sharp and complete all around, very 3-dimensional.


 

7hhlmit  ((FLUORESCENT APATITE)),   $30 MINIMUM BID,  Sapo Mine, Goiabeira, Minas Gerais, Brazil,  4 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm, Miniature,  Here is a great miniature.  It is double terminated stacked crystals of Apatite which has a hollow core and is Fluorescent orange under UV.   Completely undamaged.
 

 

 

7jgcdl  ((NAN DAN METEORITES)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Nan Dan, Hunan, China, 2.5 cm, 2 thumbnails,  Two 2.5 cm length iron meteorites from Nan Dan China.  They are lightly varnished to protect from rusting but this man be removed with thinner or nail polish remover.
