1  8naw150nrhanksite  ((HANKSITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Searles Lake, San Bernardino County, California,  7.5 x 5.5 x 5 cm, Cabinet,  A large double terminated Hanksite which is a borate.  This is water soluble and should not be washed.  Overtime these loose the water part of their composition and should be periodically coated with some mineral oil to maintain them.  For long term storage some mineral oil and then put the crystal in a zip lock bag works best for long term non display storage.   

 

2    8naw918irspyrite  ((PYRITE)),  $25 MINIMUM BID, Mina Victoria, Navajun, La Rioja, Spain,   6 x 6 x 5 cm, Miniature,  2.3 x 2.3 x 2 cm cube of flawless, highly lustrous, sharp edged Pyrite on a Marl matrix. There is another 5 mm cube to the right rear of the main crystal.  The small crystal has a small corner chip.  Specimen also sits perfectly for display.

4    8naw923esheulandite  ((HEULANDITE on MORDENITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Wani, Aurangabad District, Maharashtra, India,  8 x 4 x 3 cm, cabinet,  Here is an above average lustrous undamaged pearly tannish Heulandite from Aurangabad. 

 

5   8naw911gsstellerite  ((STELLERITE)),  $25 MINIMUM BID, Valunj Basalt Quarry, Aurangabad, Aurangabad District, Maharashtra, India,  7 x 6 x 5 cm, cabinet,  Here is an undamaged salmon colored cluster of Stellerite crystals on white matrix.  Stilbite and Stellerite are very similar.  These are labeled Stellerite the more uncommon mineral.  These are terminated and double terminated and the termination has a small flat surface which suggests Stellerite instead of a pointed termination which suggests Stilbite.

11  8naw905irsamazonite  ((MICROCLINE variety AMAZONITE)),  $35 MINIMUM BID, Last Chance Pocket, Smoky Hawk Mine, Florissant, Teller County, Colorado,  5 x 3.5 x 3 cm, Miniature,  Dark blue green color on this Amazonite.  One termination faces looks abit like it was cleaved.  But if so, it looks old with regrowth from when in the pocket. 

 

 

12    8naw063inschorl  ((SCHORL)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Erongo Massif, Omaruru District, Namibia,  5 x 5 x 4.5 cm, Miniature,  Black Tourmaline is also known as Schorl.  Here is a neat specimen which is double terminated and has an intrecate multi parallel growth crystals.   A couple of areas of contact or damage but overall minimal.  Lustrous and black Erongo Schorl.

13   511-09ldgces ((PYRITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Joao Pessoa, Paraiba, Northeast Region, Brazil,  13 x 7 x 6.5 cm, Cabinet,  Lustrous Pyrite in a Calcite vug.    ex H Deisinger collection from Germany.

 

14   511-09ldgces ((QUARTZ with ELBAITE TOURMALINE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, not labeled,  10.5 x 7 x 5 cm, Cabinet,  Here is a large terminated Quartz crystal with remnants of pink Tourmaline and  white Cleavelandite.  Termination edges have minor roughness and on the one side face is a chip but overall in good shape.  Perhaps from the Himalaya Mine or Brazil. 15    511-09ldgcar ((SKELETAL QUARTZ variety AMETHYST, MUSCOVITE)),  $25 MINIMUM BID, Corinto, Brazil,  11 x 6 x 5.5 cm, Cabinet,  Here is a large terminated Quartz crystal with minor Muscovite.  The Quartz is Amethyst.  Half of the crystal is also tangerine colored either from a coating or inclusions.  Tip of termination is a bit rough.   ex H Deisinger collection from Germany.
