  25   551-10fsgais  ((COPPER)),  $20 MINIMUM BID, 6590 foot level, Bingham Canyon Mine, Oquirrh Mine, Salt Lake County, Utah, 2.5 x 1.5 x 1 cm, Thumbnail,  Last year a small part of a find of Copper was saved from the smelter.  Crystallized Copper from the Bingham Canyon Mine is rare.  This was the best find and probably the only find in at least 30 years.  All the previous old specimens that I have seen have occurred in tight seems and has had contact on both sides of the flattened crystals.   These are fully formed crystals.  Hopefully the photos will come out well.  I have a couple of flats of miniatures and small cabinets that I hope to photo for a web page.

  74     33-00idcsgs  ((TETRAHEDRITE, QUARTZ)),  $50 MINIMUM BID,  Casapalca Mine, Huarochiri Province, Lima Department, Peru,  14 x 9 x 7 cm, Cabinet,  Here is a fine large Cabinet sized Tetrahedrite with associated Quartz.  It has a large 5 cm central crystal.  A few minor termination scuffs but overall no major damage and in great shape for a large Tetrahedrite specimen which usually have some damaged crystals. 

 

 
  75      6idejnt  ((ANATASE)),  $35 MINIMUM BID,  Hardangarvidda, Norway,  1.7 x 1.3 x .8 cm, Thumbnail,  Here is a fine single crystal of black lustrous Anatase from Norway.  Undamaged except for a chip on the underside of one termination.  Displays in a perky without showing the damage.  NOTE what looks like a crack in the photo is actually the crystal having a two terminations at that end from offset growth of the crystal.
