2    7atkrns   ((micromineral mix)),  $15 MINIMUM BID, Tsumeb, Namibia,  5 x 4 x 2 cm, Miniature,  Here is another unlabeled Tsumeb specimen.  It has some whitish rhombs and yellowish crystals with small Olive green sheaves.   ex Uli Bahmann collection.

 

3     7atkrns   ((BROCHANTITE)),  $15 MINIMUM BID, Tsumeb, Namibia,   6.5 x 6 x 5 cm, Miniature,  Pinkish saddleback Dolomite crystals covered with emerald green Brochantite.  This was part of the Kristalle lot the majority unlabeled.  I thought this was Malachite but under a loop it looks like Brochantite, not the acicular needle form, but the crystalline form with some dark green opaque  and some emerald green gemmy faced crystals.   ex Uli Bahmann collection.

5     7atkrns   ((SMITHSONITE with other microminerals)),  $15 MINIMUM BID, Tsumeb, Namibia,  7 x 5 x 3 cm, Cabinet,  This specimen is covered with individual cream colored Smithsonite crystals.  The matrix has colorless micro crystals with flat terminations.   ex Uli Bahmann collection.

 

 

6      6hedwer   ((CERUSSITE on DUFTITE on CALCITE)),  $15 MINIMUM BID, Tsumeb, Namibia,  5.5 x 4 x 2.5 cm, Miniature,  This specimen is from the Willy Israel collection handled by Rob Lavinsky.   Willy originally purchased it from Clive Queit.  The specimen has several undamaged Cerussite crystals.  Only the crystal on the top edge has damage.  ex Willy Israel Bahmann collection.

13   8ecmdis   ((MORDENITE on CHALCEDONY)), $10 MINIMUM BID, Aurangabad, near Nasik, Maharashtra, India,  7.5 x 4.5 x 4.5 cm,  Cabinet,  Here is an aesthetic specimen that looks like a spaceship.  Blue Chalcedony covered with white spheres and hairlike crystals of Mordenite. 

 

14   5hhcaiss   ((COQUIMBITE, COPIAPITE, HALOTRICHITE)), $20 MINIMUM BID, Dexter #7 Mine, Calf Mesa, San Rafael Swell, Emery County, Utah,  8.5 x 5.5 x 4 cm,  Cabinet,  Here is a large specimen with yellow Copiapite and the white is usually Halotrichite.  There is great coverage of purple glassy crystals of Coquimbite on both sides.  This was one of the best specimens from a group of specimens collected by a local collected about 10 years ago.

26  7ddcets   ((GALENA)), $10 MINIMUM BID, Galena, Illinois, 9.5 x 6 x 5 cm and 2.5 x 2 x 1 cm,  Cabinet and Thumbnail,  Here is a specimen from the Academy of Natural Science of Philadelphia with an early number of 614.  The small Galena cubic crystal has the number on it and also a signed paper scrap from the donor, E H Bebee. The large specimen has skeletal Crystals.  ex Academy of Natural Science Philadephia #614, ex E H Bebee.

27     7ddcers   ((PYRITE)), donor Prof Domeyko, $25 MINIMUM BID, Campana Mine, Chile, 9 x 8.5 x 4 cm,  Cabinet,  Here is an ugly massive very old Pyrite specimen from a historically famous donor, Prof. Domeyko (Domeykite named after him).   It is a specimen from the Academy of Natural Science of Philadelphia with an early number of 788.  The label says Magnetic Pyrites, Campana Mine, Chile.   ex Academy of Natural Science Philadephia #788, ex Prof. Domeyko.

29   511-9ldgcnrs  ((SMOKY QUARTZ)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Grimsel Area, Hasli Valley, Bern, Switzerland, 14 x 9.5 x 6 cm, Cabinet,  This is a specimen of Swiss Quartz.  It has a large Quartz crystal on the left with a large chip on the termination.  This could be taken off and cabinet specimen and still be a cabinet sized specimen with two terminated large Smoky Quartz crystals.    ex H Desinger collection.
30   10atadts  ((GOLD, QUARTZ)), $30 MINIMUM BID, Olinghouse Mine, Washoe County, Nevada, 8 x 6 x 3 cm,  Miniature,  Here a specimen of crystalline Gold from Olinghouse with small associated terminated Quartz crystals.  The Gold crystals are best viewed under a loop and are spread out over the top of the matix. 

31   9hetgie  ((ANHYDRITE)), $15 MINIMUM BID, Naica, Mexico,  11.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm,  Cabinet,  Here is a cluster of light blue Anhydrite crystals from Naica.  Pretty much undamaged and in great shape.  This have been fairly scarce in recent years.

33     5atjkar  ((CALCITE STALACTITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Southwest Mine, Bisbee, Arizona,  23 x 16 cm,  Cabinet, Here is a large cabinet specimen from Bisbee.  The straight part of the stalactite has been repaired and glued back.  So the glue could be removed with acetone to make two separate specimens.  Interesting specimen from the finds back in about 2005 collected in a large cavern at the Southwest Mine.  

 

34         511-9ldgcnrs  ((HEMATITE ROSE)),  $20 MINIMUM BID, Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil,  6 x 4 x 2.5 cm,  Miniature, Here is a lustrous multiple platy Hematite form know as a Hematite Rose.  Some damage on some of the edges which seems to be the norm with these specimens.  Mislabeled in the German collection as from Fibbia Mt, Gotthard, Switzerland.    ex H Desinger collection.

35   ca2  ((DICKTHOMSSENITE)),  $25 MINIMUM BID, Vanadium Queen Mine, La Sal Quadrangle, San Juan County, Utah,  4 x 3 x 1 cm,  Miniature, Here is a mineral only a couple of years old.  It was discovered by a local Utah collector and only found in a couple of Utah locations.  It is water soluble and rare with a very small amount of specimens collected and the state sealing many Utah mines.

39    6hlkmis  ((TOURMALINE with HERDERITE, LEPIDOLITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Pederneiras Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil,  2 cm in height,  Thumbnail,  Here is a gemmy blue green terminated Tourmaline with several cream colored Herderite crystals and associated Lepidolite.

Garnet is in great shape with only a small amount of damage.  Most of these are damaged when trying to expose from the matrix.

78  9hlkmes  ((CUPRITE with MALACHITE coating)),  $40 MINIMUM BID, Emke Mine, Onganja, Seeis, Namibia,  3 x 2.5 x 2 cm,  Miniature,   Here is one of these gemmy Cuprite crystals, many are cut and faceted, with the Malachite coating.  Sometimes the Malachite is removed but the faces do not look that good after the Malachite is removed.  The base shows the gemmy red Cuprite.  Undamaged except for the small nick on the backside as shown in the photos.
