15  9ecmsnt  ((RHODOCHROSITE, PYRITE)),  $65 MINIMUM BID, Wudong Mine, Liubao, Wushou Prefecture, Guangxi Zhuang A R, China,  5 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm,  Miniature,  A new large lot of fine Chinese Rhodochrosite was found prior to Tucson this year.  These are similar but still a totally different type of specimen than the Colorado Sweet home Rhodochrosites.  Fortunately  a much less price than the Colorado Rhodochrosite.  These are very hard to tell a natural face from a cleaved face but these all appear to be natural rhombs without any cleaved faces.

28  2hhswnnr  ((GYPSUM variety SELENITE on HALITE)),  $25 MINIMUM BID, Las Salinas, Pisco, Ica Department, Peru10 x 6.5 x 3.5 cm, Cabinet,  Highly Fluorescent Golden Selenite crystals on a matrix of Halite from Peru.  Back in 2002 this was one of the best from the find in Peru.  This still is a fine specimen but later finds produced larger crystals.

68   7798-7lhjdns  ((ZINCITE)),   $20 MINIMUM BID, N J Zinc Refinery, Palmerton, Pennsylvania,  6.5 x 3 x 3 cm,  Miniature,  Like the Poland specimens, here is a Pennsylvanian Zinc refinery by product from inefficient refinery operations.  There is massive Zincite in nature and very rarely crystalline Zincite in nature.  Many years ago the Poland specimens were common with some dealers only selling Zincite from Poland.  Much rarer are the specimens from Pennsylvania.  But the Poland specimens have also nearly disappeared in the market except at metaphysical shops selling them by the gram at high prices.
