14     510-09ldocirs  ((CELESTINE)), $10 MINIMUM  BID, Dundas Quarry, near Hamilton, Ontario, Canada,  10 x 9 x 8 cm, Cabinet,  Here is a a specimen with large crystals from Ernie Schlichter but no label.  I can not figure out what is other than it is probably from Canada or maybe the Northeast since that is where most of these unlabeled specimens from Ernie are from.  It was probably self collected by Ernie who did alot of field collecting of his specimens.  The base is sawn to sit perfectly for display without a stand. This specimen is distinct and should be able to be identified with the species and location.  Thanks to the help of one of the mineral collectors, the locality and species was known.  ex Ernie Schlichter 

 
15  510-09ldoctrs  ((FLUORITE)), $35 MINIMUM  BID, North of Red Stone Quarry, Conway, New Hampshire,  17 x 13 x 7.5 cm, Miniature,  Here is an unusual and uncommon location for Fluorite specimens.  Here is a purple and green Fluorite from New Hampshire with crystals to 4.3 cm.  It has a coating that appears to be a thin layer of quartz over the crystals.  I was going to see if it could be removed with HF by someone with the proper equipment to safely use HF but have not got to it, so here it is as naturally found.  This is the largest specimen from here that I have or had.  ex Ernie Schlichter

68     8106 99stsmar-2227  ((APOPHYLLITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India, 5.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm,  Miniature,  Here is a pristine double terminated Apophyllite crystal.  No micro chipping, no damage,  just a single crystal with sharp edges and perfectly pointed terminations.  Small attachment in the center of the crystal on one edge from a chalcedony, quartz stalactite.  ex Superb Mineral specimens from Executive Inn, Tucson in 1999.

71    449 9lfdceis  ((CHALCANTHITE variety PHILLIPITE)), Phila Academy of Science #19200,  $10 MINIMUM BID, Santiago, Chile, 4.5 cm sealed glass tube,  Thumbnail,  Here is a specimen of soluble Copper Sulfate which has been sealed in a glass tube with the ends melted closed.   It is from the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Science collection #12000.  It has and old label, in two pieces, and an Academy label.  It is an unusual or rare variety of Chalcanthite from Chile.  Phillipite may not be a valid species any longer.
 
72       7941 0apmrir  ((ZINCITE, smelter by product)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Silesia, Poland,  4.5 cm in length, Miniature,  This is a smelter by product from old inefficent Zinc Furnaces.  Modern furnaces do not have this zincite formed any longer.  Twenty years ago some dealers entire booths were Zincite.  Now it is uncommon to see any for sale except in metaphysical shops selling by the gram.  The majority is held in collections throughout the world.  This is from a small to medium size lot I purchased many years ago.  The last 3 larger pieces that I had saved, I took to Denver and sold all three.  This small specimen just showed up again in some of my stock.
