12   13btcens  ((CALCITE)),   $15 MINIMUM BID, Verchniy Mine, Dalnegorsk, Primorskiy Kray, Russia,  5.5 x 3 x 2.2 cm, Miniature, Here is a water clear gemmy Calcite from Verchniy Mine in Russia.  It is double terminated and undamaged except the main termination looks to have a cleaved tip.  This looks quite like a natural face but I believe it is cleaved.  The top half otherwise is water clear, gemmy, and flawless.  The bottom have I believe has some tan slender Aragonite inclusions, which this location is known to have.  I had to look at that cleave again.  It is very difficult to tell that it is a cleave.  Its more the form than the look of the face surface.

14   13btcens  ((HEMIMORPHITE)),   $20 MINIMUM BID, Wenshan Mine, Wenshan, Yunnan Province, China,   7 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm, Cabinet, This looks like a bluegreen Smithsonite but is actually a great Chinese Hemimorphite with botryoidal form and no damage.

15     13btcens  ((CALCITE with HEMATITE inclusions)),   $20 MINIMUM BID, Tonglushan, Hubei Province, China,   10.5 x 8.5 x 4 cm, Cabinet, Here is a great aesthetic Calcite with Hematite inclusions causing the red brown color.  It has a sawn base and the back has been ground to shape.  It even has an opening in the center.  Overall in great shape with no visable damage. 

16  13btcens  ((ARSENOPYRITE, QUARTZ, MUSCOVITE)),   $15 MINIMUM BID, Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan Province, China,   6 x 3.5 x 3 cm, Miniature,  Here is a superb Arsenopyrite with top luster, no damage, and as clean as they get, which is really clean.  There is a pair of terminated Quartz crystals in the back and small white opague flatterned rhombs of Calcite.  There is also mounds of Muscovite.  Excellent specimen prepped by Collectors Edge.

17    13btcens  ((SPHALERITE, CALCITE)),   $15 MINIMUM BID, Dalnegorsk, Russia,   4.5 x 3.5 x 3 cm, Miniature,  Here is a superb black lustrous Sphalerite and white flattened rhombs of Calcite.  It only has a small attachment at the base.
18    13btcens  ((CALCITE on SPHALERITE)),   $20 MINIMUM BID, 20-78 stope, Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee,  7 x 6 x 2.5 cm, Cabinet,  Here is a superb black lustrous pair of undamaged twinned double terminated Elmwood Calcites on Sphalerite.  Calcites are gemmy and sharp.  The back side, just above the Sphalerite is a flattened contact area.   
19    13btcens  ((SPHALERITE)),   $15 MINIMUM BID,  Elmwood Mine, Carhage, Smith County, Tennessee,  7 x 7 x 5 cm, Cabinet,  Here is a superb black lustrous cluster of Sphalerite crystals from Elmwood.  It looks in great shape and undamaged with perhaps a little very minor chipping.  I am probably imagining that.

22    13btcers  ((CRANDALITE, WARDITE, VARISCITE)),   $75 MINIMUM BID, Little Green Monster Mine, Fairfield, Clay Canyon, Utah County, Utah,  12 x 7 x 5 cm, Cabinet, Here is a Utah classic.  It is a nodule end cut and is 5 cm thick.  Clay Canyon is known worldwide for its rare phosphate mineral and Variscite nodules.   This one has yellow Crandalite and blue grey Wardite veins and small eyes.  There is also some light green Variscite.  The most desired are the dark green Variscite nodules and also very pricey.  The Crandalite and Wardite nodules are also very desirable from this classic Utah locality.  The rarer phosphates need a microscope to find and identify in the small vugs contained in these nodules.  I do not know is any of these are present or not.  See mindat.org for specimen example of these nodules and rare phosphate minerals.  This one is sawn and smooth but not polished.

64    449 9lfdceis  ((CHALCANTHITE variety PHILLIPITE)), Phila Academy of Science #19200,  $1 MINIMUM BID, Santiago, Chile, 4.5 cm sealed glass tube,  Thumbnail,  Here is a specimen of soluble Copper Sulfate which has been sealed in a glass tube with the ends melted closed.   It is from the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Science collection #12000.  It has and old label, in two pieces, and an Academy label.  It is an unusual or rare variety of Chalcanthite from Chile.  Phillipite may not be a valid species any longer.
