26   6ehbjrs    ((KOTTIGITE, PARASYMPLESITE)),  $50 MINIMUM BID, Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico, 11 x 10 x 5 cm, Cabinet,  Here is a large specimen with the rare species Kottigite, a cousin of Legrandite.   Kottingite has not been found at the Ojuela for 30 years.  kottigite and Parasymplesite are very similar in appearance and can only be distinguished with analysis.  Acicular crystal sprays and vuggy areas fillled with smaller grey green crystals.

28    6hhjdis    ((JAROSITE)),  $20 MINIMUM BID, Colorado Mine, Tintic District, Juab County, Utah, 10 x 6 x 2 cm, Cabinet,  Here is a fine Jarosite from the Tintic District of Utah.  The specimen has a rich coverage of sparkling brown crystals on the front and back side.  Unlike the fine druze of Jarosite at Gold Hill, these crystals are in a druze with crystal size probably about 1 MM.

39    12hhceis    ((MAGNETITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Cedar City, Iron County, Utah, 8.5 x 8 x 5 cm, Cabinet,  Matrix is solid Magnetite with octahedral crystal on the top side.  This would probably clean up.  It is as collected by a local field collector a couple of years ago at the Iron mines in near Cedar City, Utah. 


 

40  12hhjdis    ((CALCITE with and over HEMIMORPHITE, minor SMITHSONITE, minor BARITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Hidden Treasure Mine, Tooele County, Utah, 10 x 7 x 4.5 cm, Miniature, Here is an interesting specimen.  Mainly it is Calcite on and with the small clusters of bladed colorless Hemimorphite crystals.  There is also one small yellow Barite, these look like Wulfenite but are Barite.  There is also an area on one side with small white round crystals.  These are most likely what is called rice grain Smithsonite, usually a little larger rice grains.
