 | Here is a fine Boleite thumbnail with two 5 MM cubic dark blue Boleite crystals and three other smaller Boleites on matrix. The large crystals have very slight octahedral modifications to the corners and a couple of multi indents along the edge that is probably from twinning similar to the Utah cubic Bixbyite crystals. The clay like matrix is stabilized with dilute Elmers glue drops soaked into the matrix and then left to dry. This was from material originally collected by Ed Swaboda and sold to and prepped by the late Al Orway. This was listed at $750. |
