_small.jpg) | There are two of these on the auction. This is the larger, translucent light purple to purple Fluorite crystals. This locality and mine is in the middle of the Dugway Proving Grounds East. This is an Army facility established in 1942 to test biological and chemical weapons and near the Utah test and training Range. No access to say the least without you getting picked by the Army or Air Force Police which is not recommended. This is old material from an old collection donated to the U of U and collected many years ago maybe before 1942. ex University of Utah specimen. |
