 | Here is a cabinet sized specimen of Stibnite covered with Calcite. When I got this years ago, I had in mind to dissolve the Calcite in HCl to expose the large cluster of Stibnite crystals. I figured that the Stibnite protecting by the Calcite may come out really great without the Calcite. But I did not get to it. The bottom had large sprays of Stibnite on the matrix without the Calcite. |
