_small.jpg) | Here is a very fine example of the rare species Barahonaite-Al from Gold Hill only described a few years ago. It has vuggy areas with mounds of crystalline Barahonaite-Al. Underground access to Gold Hill was sealed by the state of Utah several years ago just after this new species was described at a locality in Spain known for the Barahonaite-Fe. Gold Hill has the best species in the world. Spain locality is not good for specimens but they were more efficient in getting this species described that was known from Gold Hill for 30 plus years |
