Twinned Titanite crystals, which are calcium titanium silicate, totally cover the top half of this large cabinet specimen. The crystals are clove brown in color, flattened wedge shaped crystals and are up to 1.5 to 2 cm but average 1 cm in length. At first glance undamaged but there are a few minor crystal chippings. The specimen has a sawn base displaying perfectly without a stand. Uncommon specimen on top of being a large cabinet size. |
