 | Here is a large specimen with lustrous Sphalerite, terminated Quartz crystals, and small Rhodochrosite crystals on the Quartz crystals. There are several shrinkage or stress cracks some through the Sphalerite crystals. These are old cracks with some of the Quartz and Rhodochrosite actually grew in the cracks. The piece overall is solid with one Sphalerite near the edge loose. Others are tight and solid. This specimen had a $600 price on it when I bought the large lot back in 2005. |
