 | Here is a suite of 5 specimens from the Flambeau Mine. It probably includes Malachite, Chalcocite, and Bornite. Known for its world class Iridescent Chalcocite specimens, specimens such as this are rare since they were usually of no interest at the time of mining and collecting the Chalcocite crystals at the Flambeau's limited lifetime. The locality has long since been reclaimed. These were collection by the University of Utah and were traded out of the U of U geology and physics department. |
