 | Calcite, A large peach colored rhomb cleaved from massive Calcite. Translucent so not very good in showing the double refraction property. But the interesting part is that two opposite faces have two planes of cleavage instead of one surface flat plane. I think that this must mean that this is actually a twinned crystal. Unique in that I have not seen this before in these cleaved rhombs usually from Mexio. |
