 | Here is a interesting and strange specimen from the Gil Griffin collection. The cubic Fluorite is purple on one side and yellow on the other side of the specimen. To top this there is what appears to be a green blue ink on the specimen. When I cleaned the specimen with water the some of the ?ink came off. A good solvent is probably needed to remove the rest. The specimen is undamaged. Who knows what the story is behind the added ink. |
