Lustrous large crystals of Axinite from Pakistan. Bottom is sawn to create a base to set up for display without a stand. Lavinsky's label does not mention it but I believe the back side of the termination on the large crystal has been smoothed to make is appear to be undamaged from the front display side while the back side of the termination lacks the natural luster of the front of the termination. It still displays nicely and it a large Axinite. Photo of the back shows the large crystal looks nearly natural. ex Glenn Davidson collection. ex Lavinsky Mineral Auctions specimen.
