_small.jpg) | Sunlight actually brings out the color rather than fading the color in this octahedral Fluorite from the Navidad Mine in Mexico. I have heard stories that these are actually colorless before bringing them out of the mine and exposing them to sunlight. For many years they were prevalent but now uncommon. They are probably not coming out any longer. This one was from the Chris Wright rockshop inventory. |
