 | Here is a large specimen of the new purple cubic Fluorite. These are in a matrix with Calcite that has been dissolved exposing the large cubic reddish purple Fluorite, many stacked upon each other. Looking at the flat back, I can see a cross section of one of the Fluorite stalactites and there is a gray long thin crystal running lenthwise. This looks like a Stibnite crystal. So these may be Stibnite crystals covered with large Fuorite and then overgrown with Calcite. |
