Rare Gypsum from the Fort Stanton-Snowy River Cave National Conservation Area established in 2009 to protect the subterranean cave resources of the second longest cave in New Mexico. Lloyd Gunther was able to collect trilobites and minerals in areas not allowed access by most people. Lloyd had several plates of this unusual Gypsum but would not let them be traded. This single crystal was originally part of a donation by Lloyd to the University of Utah. During the move to a new building, This crystal was with some other specimens that were deassessed by the Unversity during the move. ex Lloyd Gunther, the Utah trilobite king
