2hhsh.ar.arr ((AURICHALCITE, ROSASITE)), $75 MINIMUM BID, Hidden Treasure Mine, Tooele County, Utah,  16.5 x 12 x 7 cm,  Large Cabinet

A large specimen of Hidden Treasure Aurichalcite and Rosasite. Aurichalcite specimens are hard to remove from the mine without damage. A large heavier specimen is even harder. Its been almost 20 years since collecting was done at this closed mine. Owners do not allow trespassing and the state has sealed the mine with rebar that allows bats to enter. A few collectors have seaked into the mine probably from additional hidden entrances but mostly looking for lapidary specimens. This specimen was from the 1960's to possible 1970's when specimen collectors, other than micro and new species collectors, were actively collecting Utah. ex Solon Hammack collection
