_small.jpg) | Here is a conglomeratic specimen of Pyrite and Quartz paleoplacer pebbles. This is an example of high grade Gold Ore. I looked at it with a loop and I do not see any visible Gold which is a different color then the abundant Pyrite. Gold ore may or may not actually contain any Gold. Breaking this into lots of pieces may have some Gold turn up. ex Glenn Davidson collection |
