 | Here is an aesthetic specimen with a double terminated Amethyst crystal covered on three sides with terminated scalenohedral Calcite. The Calcite crystals are red brown typically colored by micro Hematite inclusions. No damage except a Calcite tip on the backside and the back part of the Quartz on the base is flat allowing it to set up on its own. Sets up on the base or in an angled sideways position. This was part of the Collectors Edge wholesale inventory at Tucson. I was able to negotiate a volume price to offer some of these on the auction. One nice bonus is that these are cleaned and prepped by Collectors Edge. ex Collectors Edge specimen with label at $300. |
