Here is a old specimen from a defunct locality of a quarry filled with water.  It is also a classic Pennsylvanian locality.  This specimen is a mass of hairlike grey green Byssolite. It has some small areas of brownish, rustly coloration from the iron oxide breakdown of a Pyrite in that area pseudomorphing to Geothite.
