 | This is part of the large lot of 80 flats of Tsumeb specimens purchased from Kristalle last year at the beginning of Tucson. These were not labeled as of the minerals. Ex Uri Bahamm collection. So the ID is a guess on my part. Not much guessing here. It is a classic Tsumeb Calcite with dark green Mottramite covering the matrix. Overall in great shape. One end has contact damage and could be trimmed to remove. One side of the Calcite crystals have a strange inclusion which may or may not be the Mottramite. The other side of the Calcite does not even have a trace. |
