7cu COPPER, Keewenaw Peninsula, Michigan, 17 x 16 x 16 cm, Cabinet

ex University of Utah Geology Department, The U is reducing its collections and concentrating on keeping Utah specimens due to a move to a new building next year. Here is a extra large cabinet specimen of Michigan Copper. The Copper is exposed with the large piece on the top but also many other locations have smaller exposures on all sides of the specimen from the Copper and Calcite veining throughout. Some time (maybe alot of time) spent chipping away at the base rock with a scribe could expose the hidden fine Copper specimen.
