| This is a superb cluster of Barite. It is not a floater but looks like a floater with no obvious attachment. The crystals are gemmy with almost no internal fractures. There is no damage to the cluster of many, many crystals except a couple peripheral crystals. The color is a pale greyish yellow, which is also unusual with the more common color being a more pronounced yellow. A few bidders have ask me to put on some medium high end specimens with higher minimums. I prefer to have just the $10 minimums, but will try some medium high end specimens in the upcoming auctions. |
