11atrmns ((COPIAPITE, COQUIMBITE)), $20 MINIMUM BID, Nazca Mine, Nazca Province, Ica Department, Peru, 5.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm, Cabinet | |
Here is a fine specimen with yellow Copiapite and associated purple Coquimbite crystals from the find last year. The miner source this year says that this is the correct location and that the location given on may specimens on the web was a location disception and incorrect. This new find produced the world's best Coquimbite. Although water soluble, show reports from last years show reported that these seem to be stable. Still they are water soluble and should be protected in humid environments. |
