Here is a 3.0 gram specimen of light olive green colored Trinitite, which is the fused sand from the first A Bomb Test Site now White Sands Missile Range. It is illegal to take any material from this site. Specimens were legally collected in the late 40's and early 50's. This specimen came from the Los Compadres rock shop in Ojo Caliente, New Mexico which closed in the late 60's, early 70's.
