Old Searles Lake Halite specimen with a two stacked 2 cm plates of small Halite crystals with several larger Halite crystals on the top plate. It is probably 20 to 30 years old. The earth quake a few years ago seems to put an end to the annual Halite harvest. The minimal Searles Lake Halite this year was apparently old material from old stock. ex Dana Wilson MD collection #172.
