Here is a specimen from the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences #22015. The Museums entire collection was sold about 10 years ago to a pair of large Mineral Dealers. This specimen is a lustrous Pyrite from Peru. Two of the back faces are contact faces. Elmers glue used to stabilize some cracking on these contact faces. ex Glenn Davidson collection. ex Lehigh Minerals Minerals specimen. ex Phila Academy collection.
