16hhsh.is ((SMITHSONITE, AURICHALCITE)), $10 MINIMUM BID, Hidden Treasure Mine, Tooele County, Utah, 7.5 x 3 x 3 cm, Cabinet

Here is an unusual or uncommon specimen. I always have been told this is Smithsonite from the Hidden Treasure. I looped the edge and the crystal look like Aurichalcite but the top is not soft but it hard to the touch. The are areas that are a bit lighter color and not as blue that are typical Smithsonite blobs like the rice grain form of Smithsonite. Perhaps Smithsonite and the Aurichalcite are together making the Aurichalcite hard to touch rather than soft. Black areas may have Plattnerite causing the dark color
