_small.jpg) | Specimen originally from the Otto Reiter collection purchased by Dave McMurdie. I purchased the Dave McMurdie collection back in 2014. Label from the Reiter collection also mentions Bismuthinite which are normally needle like lustrous black or silver colored crystals exposed when Calcite it etched and dissolved in HCl. I Do see some Bismuthinite crystals in this specimen. |
