14hhceis (( GOETHITE pseudomorph after PYRITE)) $10 MINIMUM BID, Pelican Point, Utah County, Utah, 4.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm, Miniature, | |
Here is a undamaged floater cluster of Pyritahedral crystals of Pyrite pseudomorphed to Goethite. These are found to the west of the open pit operation that produced exceptional large clusters 10 or more years ago. These are different in that the Pyrite crystals are 5 sided Pyritahedrons. The previous specimens were cubic with various modifications. Many of these Goethite pseudomorphs have crystal centers that are still Pyrite. |
