 | ex Mel Cannon collection, The coating and crystallization seems to match so I will assume that the Red Beryl was glued back in its original position. Also if someone wanted to glue a Red Beryl to a Topaz, they would have picked a better more gemmy Topaz, so it is probably a legitimate repair and not a made up specimen. Thomas Range Red Beryl are typically tabular like this one and not prismatic like the Wah Wah specimens. |
