 | Here is a historic specimen from the Trinity Site of the first atom bomb test July 16, 1945. No collecting allowed since made a U S National Momument. This was collected in the 50's by a local rockshop. Only mildly radioactive and less than most radioactive species. Trinitite is the fused glass from the desert sand near the blast. |
