 | Here is a undamaged specimen from Tri State District. The Sphalerite crystals are black lustrous sharp undamaged crystals. The Chalcopyrite crystals are somewhat iridesent with a brown patina. A minor few have chipping when looking with a loop. These are on the back. The matrix is made up of pale peach curved rhombs of Dolomite. Only damage is that little corner lower right which could be removed. Actually looks like a missing Sphalerite's base on the little corner. Overall great shape and looks a little better yet in person. |
