_small.jpg) | This was from Alain Carion between 2005 and 2010. There seems to be a bulk by the kilo available the last couple of years known as prophecy metaphysical stones but no quality collector specimens. Separately I have seen a few better specimens but with damage with arms or protrusions missing broken off after or before pseudomorphing. Undamaged collector specimens from Alain Carion, a French dealer, that were available in about 2005 or so don't seem to be available anymore or they are very expensive at the high end dealers from high end collections. At first they were thought to be Goethite after Marcasite but analysis shows they are Hematite after Marcasite. ex Dave Richerson collection, ex Alain Carion specimen. |
