 | Here is an extra fine Cobal specimen from Columbia with many large insects and even a tree bud. Cobal is more in the age of 100000 to 1 million years old. Amber is more like 65 million years old. Cobal is still technically a resin and Amber is a rock. Cobal has insects like are still existing and normal size. Amber has probably extinct insects but are also very small insects, most needing alot of magnification to see any details. Here is a great Columbian Cobal specimen. |
