 | Here is a gemmy lustrous red Spinel from Burma now called Myanmar on a contrasting white marble. Spinel is 1 cm in length. Octahedral crystal normally. This one is several intergrown crystals. With a loop there is some chipping probably from exposing it from the Marble. This can be seen in the close up. Chipping bearly noticeable without a loop. |
