8dgrris ((SILVER, COPPER HALFBREED)), $10 MINIMUM BID, Quincy Mine?, Hancock, Houghton County, Michigan, 6 x 3 x .2 cm

Here is a polished slab of classic halfbreed of Silver and Copper. This belonged to a worker at the Quincy Mine and several other specimens were labeled Quincy and so this also may be from the Quincy Mine. It is probably 90 to 95% Copper with only small areas of Silver. The outside edge appears to have been shaped for some purpose.
