 | High quality undamaged except of one corner edge has about 5 mm of roughness, lustrous double terminated blocky gemmy Apophyllite single crystal with beveled corners perched on a small matrix of white Scolecite. Some of the Scolecite is actually included inside the Apophyllite. There is also a smaller double terminated Stilbite and another Apophyllite attached to the Scolecite matrix. In 1999 I purchased the entire room at the Executive Inn from Superb Minerals, and Indian dealer on the opening day. It was a modest suite where all the specimens were of the highest Quality Indian Zeolites. I have not seen a Superb Minerals room since where I liked every specimen. Although reasonable for the quality, buying that quantity still did not make them cheap. This is one of those great specimens. |
