 | Large Halite specimen with cubic Halite crystals to 3.5 cm. These large crystals are not easy to find or collect. These were collected with permission from Magnesium Corp's evaporation pond gates which usually is off limits to any collecting. I am told they now use chemicals to retard the growth of Halite crystals on the gates and so no longer occur or need to be removed by hand. |
