 | Here is a specimen collected in 1991 by Jim and Paula Wilson. It is a very rare Ammonium bearing Mica. The type locality is in Japan. At the time that this was collected it was only the second locality in the world. This is a large specimen and much better than its Japanese counterpart. The specimen I seen from Japan was only a small thumbnail specimen. Paula Wilson collected these and did here thesis on this rare mineral and its occurance in Utah. |
