_small.jpg) | Very rare species only collected at Mecur by 5 local mineral collectors for one day in 1990 prior to discovering it was a new thallium species. Then returning a couple of days later found the bench where it was collected was gone from the on going Gold mining operation. Here is a fine thumbnail with associated species of yellow Orpiment and white Barite with in the matrix of shale and Barite. Gillulyite is the small 1 x 2 mm area of dark marroon about the center of the specimen. |
