A7hhgtrs.nr  ((AMMOLITE)),   $20 MINIMUM BID, Utah,  3.9 x 2.5 x .5 cm

Here is Ammolite from Utah and not Canada.  It is from the ammonite Placenteris meeki that lived during the cretaceous, age of dinosaurs, about 65 to 100 million years ago.  This one is mainly red with some areas of yellow red to almost green.  As the specimen is slightly turned the color moves as seen in the several photos.  This has been prepped with epoxy to protect the delicate and thin shell containing the color.  It is ready to be made into jewelry such as wire wrapping.
