 | Here is a large double terminated undamaged Hanksite collected years ago and keep in a zip lock bag. The is an indent from another crystal but undamaged. These can be preserved with a thin coating of mineral oil and also keeping in a zip lock bag. Hanksite is a borate species and is water soluble and will dissolve in less than an hour if submerged in water. Without protection it also gets a white coating from dehydration. |
