13hbmdis ((10 EPIDOTE)), $1 MINIMUM BID, Calvert Mine, Pipestone District, Beaverhead County, Montana, 1.5 to 3.5 cm, Thumbnails to Miniature | |
After the Butte show I bought several flats of Montana minerals from a retired digger. These have not been cleaned. Here is a specimen of Smoky Quartz with Microcline. Here are 10 Epidote crystals from Montana. Generally Epidote crystals from this location appear to be single terminated crystals. Other have a V on the termination and appear to be twins. They also seem to have vertical cleavage and many split or are partially split vertically. |
